Writer and presenter of current affairs and political programmes on TV and radio, Jonathan Dimbleby is a heavyweight broadcaster who has gained admiration and respect over a 45 year career.
Son of the near legendary former BBC Panorama frontman Richard Dimbleby and younger brother of broadcaster David Dimbleby, Jonathan started his career with the BBC in Bristol in 1969. Within a year he had moved to national TV and was soon working on ITV’s flagship current affairs programme This Week.
In 1988 he joined the BBC writing and presenting highly acclaimed political and documentary programmes. He has also written a number of books and since 1987 has presented BBC Radio 4’s Any Questions?
