The success of our new series of online shows continues apace. Curtain Up, presented by Clive Conway Productions and Iconic Media Solutions, brings some of Britain’s best loved faces into people’s homes this autumn. It is the perfect antidote to this year of dark theatres.
Those featured so farv include actor, wit and raconteur Gyles Brandreth historian Dan Cruickshank, antiques and pop star turned priest and broadcaster Rev Richard Coles who will be back by populr demand this Friday (27th November).
Book yourself a ticket (details below) and you will find Richard pondering his extraordinary journey from 1980s pop star with chart-topping band The Communards to Church of England Vicar, radio broadcaster and TV personality.
His story is as real as it is unlikely. During the talk he will explain the curious circumstances that took him from the euphoria and mayhem of being on Top of the Pops with Jimmy Somerville to the ordained Church of England priest he is today.
Of course the showman is still there which is why most people know Richard as both the host of BBC Radio 4’s Saturday Live and a frequent guest and presenter on countless radio and TV shows that have included Strictly Come Dancing and Celebrity Masterchef.
Tickets are available via a unique access link accessible from all mobile, IOS and desktop devices. Book now: Pop Star to Priest is at 7.30pm on Friday 27th November.
