The success of  our new series of online shows continues. Curtain Up,  presented by Clive Conway Productions and Iconic Media Solutions, brings some of Britain’s best loved faces into people’s homes this autumn. It is the perfect antidote to this year of dark theatres.
The series, launched last month with actor, wit and raconteur Gyles Brandreth presenting his 7 Secrets of Happiness, a show that proved so popular that two more online screenings are planned this week
Live streamed on Wednesday (11th November) and Friday (13th November), it finds the inimitable Gyles Brandreth in full flow, delivering gems of wisdom from his best-selling book about his pursuit of the secrets of happiness.
Gyles, who is also a former MP and government whip, jokes that he  started out in the House of Commons and ended up in the psychiatrists chair. A fairly well-worn route one might imagine.
We learn precisely what he discovered about who gets to be happy and how and there are some useful tips picked up along the way, from, among others, the Queen, the prime minister and Mick Jagger.
The result is an amazing hour that will make you laugh and could change your life. It might even extend your life too. Research shows that happy people live seven to ten years longer than the miseries among us.
