Mungi Ngomane's new Ubuntu podcast

Great news that the new Everyday Ubuntu podcast hosted by author and human rights campaigner Mungi Ngomane has officially launched.
It follows the success of Mungi’s hugely successful book of the same name which explored  the power of the African philosophy of Ubuntu to improve and transform people’s lives. In essence Ubuntu teaches us to recognise and cherish our common humanity to understand that a love, respect and understanding of each other, is the way forward.
Few people understand this better than Mungi, who is the granddaughter of Archbishop Desmond Tutu and patron of the Tutu Foundation UK. Growing up in the U.S. and South Africa, her early years featured a life and education that was infused with the philosophy of Ubuntu. It was also central to the way of thinking of her Nobel Peace Prize winning grandfather who was passionate about Ubuntu in his fight for human rights and social justice.
Mungi’s new podcast includes conversations with inspiring personalities and activists across the globe who are determined to make the world a better place.
The show's first episode, released during South Africa's Women's Month, featured an interview with Nigerian-born, internationally renowned DJ, producer and radio host, Florence Otedola, also known as Cuppy.
The latest episode iswith Penny Abeywardena who was born in Sri Lanka and moved to the US as an undocumented immigrant, and after working for several years at the Clinton Global Initiative, she signed on as New York City’s Commissioner for International Affairs.
