Daughter of Archbishop Desmond Tutu and human rights activist, Revd Nontombi Tutu will lead this year's Desmond Tutu Annual Memorial Lecture at Minster tomorrow at 7pm.
The lecture, titled ‘Truth, The Path to Reconciliation’ will take place in the cathedral’s Nave aims to provide a panel for critical reflection with regards to religion and social justice.
The annual Desmond Tutu Memorial Lecture on Religion and Social Justice is established by Desmond Tutu Centre for Religion and Social Justice at the University of Western Cape and United Society Partners in the Gospel (USPG) in tribute to Desmond Tutu.
The lecture series aspires to deepen comprehension and inspire action toward dismantling oppressive structures and nurturing just communities.
