To.Get.There is a project dedicated to Pope Francis that provides high-quality medical care and support to the most vulnerable communities. The Casa Ragazzi Racisci in Gule, was built thanks to the generous contribution of Morena Zani in memory of his mother, Santina Zani, which offers shelter, support and rehabilitation opportunities to street youth, particularly those struggling with drug addiction and the challenges of living on the streets.
The event attracted many guests, including many well-known names from the world of fashion and entertainment, entrepreneurs, professionals, philanthropists and supporters of To.Get.There, all united by the common desire to contribute to positive change in the territories affected by poverty and hardship in Africa.
During the evening, the To.Get.There Awards were awarded, a sign of gratitude for the commitment of those who make a difference every day. The Awards were presented to: Mungi Ngomane the granddaughter of the South African archbishop and activist who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1984 Desmond Tutu, actively involved in the civil rights front; Waris Dirie Somali writer and former model who with the Desert Flower Foundation is actively involved in the fight against the infibulation to which African women are subjected and to the actor Lino Guanciale for his support for the UNHCR to support refugees and displaced people in Ukraine.
